Bookkeeping Services

Input Transactions:  I enter all your transactions into QuickBooks.
Assign Items to Appropriate Accounts:  I assign all transactions to appropriate income and expense accounts.
Bank Statement Reconciliations
Online Access:  If I perform your bookkeeping activities in my office, I will provide you with online access to all your accounting information and reports.
Accounts Payable:  I prepare your checks for you to sign and mail out.
Accounts Receivable:  I will invoice your customers and manage collection as necessary.
Payroll:  Maiko Bookkeeping will manage your payroll, maintain your payroll records and file the required payroll tax returns.
Year End Reports for your Accountant:  I will provide your accountant with the information they need to prepare your tax return.

QuickBooks Training and Consulting

As a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, I recommend the QuickBooks accounting package (significant software discounts are provided).  I can assist you and your staff in learning, using and customizing QuickBooks to make the most out of your investment in the software.

EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting - Louisiana State University of Shreveport
Public Accounting - Three years at BDO Seidman, CPAs, in the audit department and the tax department.
Private Accounting - After leaving the CPA firm, spent several years as a Controller at a restaurant, a construction company and a business machine store.
QuickBooks Advisor - Began working for myself in 1996, setting up small businesses on QuickBooks, training clients to use QuickBooks, providing bookkeeping services and computer consulting.
